Moerwijk Hofjes transformation.

My architect friend (and now client) Oriana Kraemer asked me to design a book for her final project for the master in ®MIT (Restauration Modification Intervention Transformation). Here's a little sneak peak at the cover and flyleaf, I'll be posting more photos next week. It will be showing at the travelling Archiprix exhibition.

Beheaded Matilda.

This is the very first figure I made in my ceramics course. Matilda was born with a head on her shoulders. I stuck her to my studio window sill next to a cactus. When I got in the next morning, a dramatic scene awaited me: Matilda was lying on the floor and had been beheaded. Somehow I feel this was for the best. She's more interesting now. 

Ceramic experiments.

Last year I tried pottery but was hopelessly bad at it. Still, my attraction towards clay remained, so I joined another course. This time no turning wheel involved, which allowed me to work at a slower, calmer pace. And I absolutely love it! These are the results of my first few goes. I will be continuing my experiments for the coming months.

Rekult workshop "From A to Zine"

It's been waaaay too long since I posted on here. It was a lot of fun and wonderful to see all the results by the end of it. I would definitely join again!

Plantágoras exhibition at Niche Rotterdam.

On the 20th of June there will be a small opening
for my little Plantágoras watercolour series.
Everyone is welcome! I will be at Niche from
5 to 9pm welcoming people.

Bike exhibition.

There will be a bike exhibition coming up in Rotterdam very soon where the bike rims I drew on will be showing! Nice surprise!

Fresh from the printer!

We got our delivery of lovely A4 prints on 300 gr "artist paper" today! The paper and colours are great, very high quality, super bright colors!

I posted them to Bego who will be showing (and hopefully selling) them at the 

XV Creative Jam Festival in Lisbon.
